PU wall sandwich panels
PU Wall Sandwich Panels for Cold Rooms and Industrial Walls
We manufacture PU wall sandwich panels with a 35–45 kg/m³ polyurethane core for procurement teams sourcing cold storage and industrial wall systems. With a typical thermal conductivity of 0.022–0.025 W/m·K, PU panels deliver the highest insulation performance per millimeter among our wall panel materials. Shipped to Chile, Peru, Colombia, Indonesia and other markets from our Shandong factory.

Why PU Wall Panels from LIAOHE
We run a factory-direct production line in Shandong. When you send project drawings or a panel schedule, our engineering team reviews panel position, span, insulation target, fire-performance requirements and transportation conditions before quotation. Every order is matched against our production calendar and container-loading plan.
PU offers the highest thermal resistance per millimeter of any sandwich panel core we produce. For cold rooms operating at −25°C to +5°C and industrial walls where energy cost matters, the lower panel thickness at a given U-value means more usable floor area and lower shipping volume per square meter of wall.
- Core material: rigid polyurethane (PU) foam
- Product position: wall panel system
- Factory-direct manufacturing, Shandong
- Export packing and container-loading support

Technical Specifications
Final production data must follow confirmed drawings, order requirements and applicable project specifications. The values below represent our standard manufacturing capability.
| Item | Typical / Available Range | Quotation Note |
|---|---|---|
| Core material | Rigid polyurethane (PU) foam, CFC-free | Confirm required density with project drawings. |
| Panel type | Wall panel (concealed fastener / tongue-and-groove) | Wall and roof profiles must not be mixed in one order. |
| Core density | 38–45 kg/m³ (standard); up to 50 kg/m³ on request | Higher density improves compressive strength and screw pull-out. |
| Panel thickness | 50 / 75 / 100 / 120 / 150 / 200 mm | Selected by project U-value target and span conditions. |
| Thermal conductivity λ | 0.022–0.025 W/m·K (initial, 10°C mean) | Aged values per EN 13165; project-specific calculation available. |
| Fire performance | B2 (EN 13501-1) standard; B1 available with flame-retardant formulation | Specify fire rating requirement before quotation. |
| Effective width | 1000 mm / 1120 mm depending on profile | Confirm joint type: concealed fastener or exposed fastener. |
| Steel facing | 0.4–0.8 mm; PPGI / Galvalume / Al-Zn coated | Available in RAL colors; specify coating type and color code. |
All values are subject to project-specific confirmation. Certified fire ratings and U-value calculations are provided with the project quotation package.
Applications
These application scenarios represent projects we have supplied with PU wall panels. Selection should match your operating temperature, fire requirement and delivery plan.
- Cold room and freezer walls — operating from −25°C to +5°C; see our Mexico cold storage project
- Industrial workshop walls — steel structure buildings requiring thermal insulation with concealed-fastener appearance
- Food processing enclosures — cleanable wall surfaces with temperature-controlled interior environments
- Warehouse partition walls — internal temperature zoning in large logistics buildings
PU vs. PIR vs. Rock Wool Wall Panels
Quick guide to choosing the right core material for your wall project.
| Feature | PU Wall | PIR Wall | Rock Wool Wall |
|---|---|---|---|
| Thermal conductivity λ | 0.022–0.025 W/m·K | 0.020–0.024 W/m·K | 0.040–0.045 W/m·K |
| Fire performance | B2 / B1 available | B1 / B-s1,d0 | A1 / A2 |
| Best for | Cold rooms, energy efficiency | Cold + fire-rated | Fire safety, acoustic control |
| Core density | 38–45 kg/m³ | 40–48 kg/m³ | 80–200 kg/m³ |
| Relative material cost | Standard | Higher than PU | Highest of the three |
Manufacturing, Quality, and Delivery
These evidence modules support your procurement qualification, technical review and order preparation.

Production Line
Continuous lamination line with in-line cutting. Panel profiling, joint type, steel facing and core density are set per confirmed panel schedule before production begins.

Export Packing & Loading
Panels are packed with edge protectors, PE film and steel strapping on fumigated pallets (ISPM 15). Container loading uses forklift and spreader bar — we calculate panel count per 40HQ before shipment.

Certifications & Documents
ISO 9001 certified production. We provide mill test certificates (MTC), third-party test reports, and product data sheets with each shipment. Additional documentation prepared for buyer qualification.

Delivery Capability
Factory capacity, lead time and container-loading data for export planning.
Monthly Production Capacity
Approximately 200,000–250,000 m²/month across all panel types; PU wall panels are a high-volume line.
Typical Lead Time
Standard specifications: 15–20 days after deposit. Custom colors, special coatings or non-standard thicknesses: 25–35 days. We confirm a production slot and vessel plan before order acceptance.
Container Loading
A 40HQ container typically loads 1,000–1,300 m² of PU wall panels depending on thickness and profile.
