EPS roof sandwich panels

EPS Roof Sandwich Panels for Warehouses, Agricultural Buildings and Budget Roofing Projects

We manufacture EPS roof sandwich panels with an expanded polystyrene core (8–25 kg/m³) for procurement teams who need reliable insulated roofing at the lowest material cost. With a corrugated steel top sheet for water shedding and an EPS core for thermal insulation, these panels serve warehouses, poultry farms, prefabricated buildings and non-fire-rated industrial roofs. Shipped factory-direct from Shandong to Chile, Peru, Colombia, Indonesia and across Southeast Asia.

Why EPS Roof Panels from LIAOHE

EPS (expanded polystyrene) is the most economical core material for insulated roof panels. At roughly 40–60% of the material cost of an equivalent PU or PIR roof panel, EPS makes sense for projects where the budget drives specification and fire rating is not the primary concern — warehouses, agricultural buildings, temporary roof structures, and large-volume prefabricated housing.

We produce EPS roof panels on the same continuous lamination line and corrugated roll-forming station as our PU and PIR roof panels. The steel facing, rib profile, joint design and accessory system are identical — the only difference is the core. This means your installation crew uses the same fasteners, sealants and flashing details, with no learning curve if you combine EPS with higher-spec panels across different buildings in the same project.

  • Core material: expanded polystyrene (EPS) foam
  • Product position: roof panel system (3-rib / 5-rib profile)
  • Factory-direct manufacturing, Shandong
  • Export packing and container-loading support

Technical Specifications

Final production data must follow confirmed drawings and project specifications. EPS roof panels are the lightest and most economical option in our roof panel range.

ItemTypical / Available RangeQuotation Note
Core materialExpanded polystyrene (EPS) foam, CFC-freeConfirm required density per project specification.
Panel typeRoof panel (3-rib or 5-rib corrugated profile, overlap joint)3-rib standard for budget roofs; 5-rib for improved stiffness.
Core density8–25 kg/m³; 12–15 kg/m³ standard for roof panelsHigher density improves span capacity and screw retention at purlin connections.
Panel thickness50 / 75 / 100 / 120 / 150 mmSelected by span, insulation target, and budget.
Thermal conductivity λ0.035–0.040 W/m·KHigher than PU/PIR; thicker panel may be needed for same U-value.
Fire performanceE (EN 13501-1) standard; flame-retardant EPS (FR-EPS) available for B2Not recommended for fire-rated roof construction. Specify if FR-EPS required.
Span capacity (single-span)1.2–2.5 m typical at standard loads (0.5 kN/m²)Slightly lower than PU at same thickness due to lower core compressive strength.
Minimum roof slope5° (8.7%) recommended; 3° minimum with sealed side lapLower slopes require additional lap-joint sealant.
Effective width1000 mm standardCovers 1000 mm per panel after side-lap overlap.
Steel facing0.3–0.6 mm; top sheet PPGI/Galvalume, bottom sheet PPGI/Al-ZnLighter steel acceptable due to lower panel weight; standard RAL colors available.

EPS roof panels are not suitable for fire-rated roof construction. For projects requiring B1 or better fire classification, consider our PIR or rock wool roof panels. EPS is an economical insulated roofing solution where fire rating is not the controlling specification.

Applications

EPS roof panels serve cost-sensitive roofing projects where reliable thermal performance is needed without the premium of PU, PIR or rock wool cores.

  • Warehouse and storage building roofs — large-volume, non-fire-rated industrial roof envelopes
  • Poultry farms and agricultural building roofs — see our Philippines poultry farm project
  • Prefabricated office and accommodation unit roofs — modular buildings where cost per square meter drives specification
  • Temporary and semi-permanent roof structures — construction site offices, storage annexes, event enclosures

Manufacturing, Quality, and Delivery

EPS roof panel production is the highest-volume line in our factory, optimized for cost efficiency without compromising dimensional accuracy or weathertightness.

Production Line

High-speed continuous lamination with in-line corrugated roll forming. EPS blocks are cut to thickness, fed between steel sheets with the ribbed top sheet already formed, and bonded under heat and pressure. Standard thicknesses kept in stock for fast turnaround.

Export Packing & Loading

EPS roof panels are the lightest in our range — a 40HQ container carries the most square meters, lowering freight cost per m². Face-to-face packing with interleaving to protect rib profiles. Standard ISPM 15 pallets with edge protectors and steel strapping.

ISO 9001 quality management certificate of Shandong LIAOHE New Material Co Ltd

Certifications & Documents

ISO 9001 certified production. Mill test certificates, material data sheets, dimensional inspection reports and span tables provided with each shipment.

Delivery Capability

Factory capacity, lead time and container-loading data for export planning.

Monthly Production Capacity

EPS is the highest-volume line; standard thicknesses are kept in stock for faster turnaround.

Typical Lead Time

Standard specifications: 15–20 days after deposit. Custom colors, special coatings or non-standard thicknesses: 25–35 days. We confirm a production slot and vessel plan before order acceptance.

Container Loading

A 40HQ container typically loads 1,100–1,400 m² of EPS roof panels, making EPS the most freight-efficient option.
