EPS wall sandwich panels
EPS Wall Sandwich Panels for Warehouses, Prefabricated Buildings and Budget-Conscious Projects
We manufacture EPS wall sandwich panels with an expanded polystyrene core (8–25 kg/m³) for procurement teams who need reliable thermal insulation at the lowest material cost. EPS panels are the most economical of our four core material options, widely used for warehouses, poultry farms, prefabricated offices and non-fire-rated industrial envelopes. Shipped factory-direct from Shandong to Chile, Peru, Colombia, Indonesia and across Southeast Asia.

Why EPS Wall Panels from LIAOHE
EPS (expanded polystyrene) is the cost leader among sandwich panel cores. At roughly 40–60% of the material cost of a PU or PIR panel of the same thickness, EPS makes sense for projects where the budget drives specification and fire rating is not the primary concern — warehouses, agricultural buildings, temporary structures, and large-volume prefabricated housing.
We produce EPS panels on the same continuous lamination line as our other products. The steel facing and joint profiles are identical — the only difference is the core. This means your installation method, flashing coordination and accessory system work the same way, so there is no learning curve if you switch from a higher-cost core material for certain buildings in the same project.

Technical Specifications
Final production data must follow confirmed drawings and project specifications.
| Item | Typical / Available Range | Quotation Note |
|---|---|---|
| Core material | Expanded polystyrene (EPS) foam, CFC-free | Confirm required density per project specification. |
| Panel type | Wall panel (tongue-and-groove / exposed or concealed fastener) | Wall and roof profiles must not be mixed in one order. |
| Core density | 8–25 kg/m³; 12–15 kg/m³ standard for wall panels | Higher density improves compressive strength and screw retention. |
| Panel thickness | 50 / 75 / 100 / 120 / 150 / 200 mm | Selected by insulation target and span conditions. |
| Thermal conductivity λ | 0.035–0.040 W/m·K | Higher than PU/PIR; thicker panel may be needed for same U-value. |
| Fire performance | E (EN 13501-1) standard; flame-retardant EPS (FR-EPS) available for B2 | Not recommended for fire-rated construction. Specify if FR-EPS required. |
| Effective width | 1000 mm / 1120 mm depending on profile | Confirm joint type with project drawings. |
| Steel facing | 0.3–0.6 mm; PPGI / Galvalume / Al-Zn coated | Available in RAL colors; thinner steel acceptable due to lower panel weight. |
EPS panels are not suitable for fire-rated construction. For projects requiring B1 or better fire classification, consider our PIR or rock wool wall panels. EPS is an economical insulation solution where fire rating is not the controlling specification.
Applications
EPS wall panels serve cost-sensitive projects where reliable thermal performance is needed without the premium of PU, PIR or rock wool.
- Warehouse and workshop buildings — large-volume, non-fire-rated industrial envelopes
- Poultry farms and agricultural buildings — see our Philippines poultry farm project
- Prefabricated offices and accommodation units — modular buildings where cost per square meter drives specification
- Temporary and semi-permanent structures — construction site offices, storage annexes, event enclosures
Manufacturing, Quality, and Delivery
EPS panel production is the highest-volume line in our factory, optimized for cost efficiency without compromising dimensional accuracy.

Production Line
High-speed continuous lamination. EPS blocks are cut to thickness, fed between steel sheets and bonded under heat and pressure. Standard thicknesses are kept in stock for faster turnaround on common sizes.

Export Packing & Loading
EPS panels are lighter than other core types — a 40HQ container can carry more square meters, which lowers freight cost per m². Standard packing with edge protectors, PE film, steel strapping on ISPM 15 pallets.

Certifications & Documents
ISO 9001 certified production. Mill test certificates, material data sheets and dimensional inspection reports provided with each shipment.

Delivery Capability
Factory capacity, lead time and container-loading data for export planning.
Monthly Production Capacity
EPS is the highest-volume line; standard thicknesses are kept in stock for faster turnaround.
Typical Lead Time
Standard specifications: 15–20 days after deposit. Custom colors, special coatings or non-standard thicknesses: 25–35 days. We confirm a production slot and vessel plan before order acceptance.
Container Loading
A 40HQ container typically loads 1,100–1,400 m² of EPS wall panels, making EPS the most freight-efficient option.
